| Information Assurance and Certification and Accreditation Support: |
|
Nexagen provided Information Assurance (IA), Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and Software Assurance (SWA) services to Logistics Management Program (LMP), Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), Brigade Combat Team Modernization Program (BCT-M) and WIN-T Systems. These include both DoD Strategic and Tactical Systems, ex: Manned and Unmanned Ground and Air Vehicular Systems, Sensor systems, and Common Controller.

| Nexagen contributions included: |
- IA Engineering: We provided requirements engineering, system architecture, supplier design evaluation, and trade analyses for security solutions complying to DoDI 8500.2, Army Regulation 25-2, DoD 5XXX series of policies, and DCID 6/3 PL3 and higher.
- Security Risk Assessments and Get-Well Plans
for every applicable IA requirements non-compliance cases:
- Certification packages for NSA/NIAP/NIST Certification
- Certification Test & Evaluation (CT&E) package for Cross Domain Solutions (CDS),
- Key Management Plan (KMP) for Data At Rest (DAR) solution, and
- SOSCOE Security Target for NIAP Certification.
- Software Assurance Support:
Performed security risk assessments on reuse software types for Software Configuration Control Board (SCCB) review and concurrence.
- Certification Testing:
- Conducted in-house vulnerability scans and analyzed vulnerability scans reports and derived a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
- Assisted Agent of the Certification Authority (ACA) teams with certification tests at the White Sand Missile Range (WSMR) test facility for the Approval To Operate (ATO) accreditation Decision.
- C&A Management and Documentation:
- Developed C&A strategies for SoS configuration
- Assessed and integrated suppliers’ IA/C&A artifacts into one cohesive DIACAP package, including certification tests results with risk assessments for accreditation decisions.
- Led an IA/C&A Working Group.
- Independent C&A Support:
As a member of CECOM SEC Certifying Agent (CA) Technical Team, Nexagen member technically executed security Certification and Accreditation (DITSCAP) for the Army Material Command’s (AMC’s) Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) as an independent certification agent.

Nexagen offered Software Support to CECOM Safety Office:
Nexagen member was responsible for overall Software Safety Design processes for JTRS Cluster 5 and FBCB2 Joint Capability Release (JCR). We technically guided the program Managers (PM) to ensure proper implementation of Software Safety processes through systems’ acquisition cycle. We assisted customers by developing Software Safety Assessment Report (SAR) template for the JTRS as a Future Combat Systems (FCS) complementary system.
