Rupal Parikh, President |
Rupal holds 20+ years of strong Department of Defense (DoD) and private industry experience. She graduated with Bachelors of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering and Masters of Science (MS) in Computer Science. Her strong technical and managerial skills, provides tremendous value to an engineering and research organizations. She has supported complex, multi-disciplinary technical programs and efficiently developed and managed program planning and execution.
Through the course of her career, she has been involved with evolutionary technologies, both in commercial and defense industries. During her career in Telecommunication Industries, Rupal supported projects implementing Optical Bandwidth Management and Broadband Switching and Routing Solutions. As an Army civilian, Rupal provided instrumental support to Software Engineering Center (SEC) and the US Army Communications Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) in the area of Systems & Software Engineering, Software Assurance (SWA), Information Assurance (IA) and Certification & Accreditation(C&A) on various Army systems.
While working on the flagship Defense programs like Brigade Command Team-Modernization (BCT-M) Program, Joint Tactical Radio Systems (JTRS), Forces XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2), Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T) and various Sustaining Base Programs, she has gained extensive hands-on experience in the area of IA, DoD IA Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), SWA, and system and software engineering at the System of System (SoS) level. While supporting DoD programs, she has worked with emerging technologies, regulations and standards, including, including Transmission Security (TRANSEC)/Communication Security (COMSEC) cryptographic algorithms and products, Controlled Interface (CI)/Design Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), DoD Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Key Management (KM) for Tactical and National Security Systems (NSS).

Rajesh (Raj) Parikh, Strategic and Tactical Operations Executive |
Raj is in charge of operations and providing strategic guidance. Raj has more than 20 years of experience in the DOD after serving as Project Leader for key ARMY initiatives such as Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T) Tactical and Regional HUB Node, Wideband Gapfiller Satellite (WGS) GSCCE, Air Force LMST and FTSAT programs. Last five years has been focused on providing Systems Engineering support on programs like BETSS-C where he performed Modeling and Simulation analysis on HNR from Harris, Motorola PTP 45600, BAE Law and other wireless technologies.
He was responsible for putting together Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA) for CERDEC on the Government Reference Architecture (GRA). He is also responsible for business development putting in place Prime Contracts with PM WIN-T Commercial SATCOM Terminal Program (CSTP) Office, CERDEC and Software Engineering Center in support of the C4ISR community. Raj holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and Master in Computer Science from Farleigh Dickinson University. |

Carl Swenson, VP for Enterprise Networks Services. |
Carl joins us with over 26 years of experience as an Army Civilian Electronics Engineer. He kicked off his career after graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1984. Carl was instrumental in the management and fielding of the Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE) System during his tenure as a Project Leader in the Program Management office for MSE.
He then joined the US Army Communications Electronics Research Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate as a Project Leader for the Single Channel Antijam Manportable (SCAMP) SATCOM terminal managing, producing, testing, fielding and supporting over 600 SCAMP systems for the joint services. Carl obtained His Masters Degree in Technology Management in 1998 from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
For the past eight years, Carl has been the Division Chief for the SATCOM Systems Division of the US Army CERDEC Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate, leading a team of over 100 civilian and military personnel providing leading edge SATCOM systems technology and technical support to the Army and the DoD Community. Carl will be leading our military enterprise network services efforts.

Eddie Pena, VP for Enterprise Networks Solutions. |
Eddie comes to us with 20 years of experience in the DOD after serving from Private to Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. As an enlisted Marine and Officer he served in various billets in the Air Defense community from Stinger Missile Gunner to Section Leader and in combat as a Platoon Commander and Battery Executive Officer.
His last six years have specifically dealt with the Satellite and Wireless Networking domain starting with his time as a Masters Degree candidate at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, California. At NPS he served as a project officer with the Center for Network Innovation and Experimentation (CENETIX) Lab (http://cenetix.nps.edu/cenetix/) in support of their Tactical Network Topology Experiments and Marine Interdiction Operation testbed.
While at NPS he also attained his Masters degree in Information Technology Management with an emphasis in Network Security and co-authored a Thesis on Voice Biometrics for use in security applications, Iraqi Banking and payment of soldiers and police. Most recently he served as the SATCOM Team Lead and Project Lead for the Marine Corps' Support Wide Area Network (SWAN), Wireless Point to Point Link (WPPL) and Commercial Bandwidth programs at Marine Corps Systems Command. Eddie will be leading our commercial and enterprise networks solution efforts.

Heine Rivera, Financial Manager |
|
Heine is our Financial Manager in charge of the Corporate Administration, Accounting and Human Resources. He carefully carries out his Financial Analyst tasks by managing various contracts and project financials. He provides close assistance to the Operations Director Mr. Raj Parikh for overall management and decision making. With a degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from The InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, and US Department of Defense auditing experience he has become great asset for Nexagen. He also possess a Masters Degree from the Newark College of Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Engineering Management and he most recently acquired his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Since early 2009 Heine has proven his commitment and has become an integral part of the Nexagen Family.
